Refreshed by the Spirit: A Celebration of Ministry!

As a newcomer to the congregation, I want to learn about its activities. What are the committees and individuals of the congregation doing to support the mission of Jesus at Bethany English Lutheran Church? What are the known ministries, and what are the behind-the-scenes ministries? What ministries are coming out of a committee, and what are ministries built by small, informal groups?
The other reason I want to learn these things is so I can help people connect their skills, experience, and passions to support the work already in progress. Sometimes it also helps them connect to like-minded people to start something new! The committees, organizations, and working teams are working to share the stories of their work. This will help all of us see what ministries are happening in the congregation. This opportunity will give you a chance to learn more and can open an opportunity for you to volunteer. It will also provide us with the opportunity to reinvigorate some fellow ministry areas; specifically, the Stewardship Ministry Group, the Evangelism Ministry Group, and the Ministry Group for Youth Activities and Programs.
What do you want to learn more about? Where is God calling you to support the various Ministries? Joining a ministry area does not mean you will need to be its leader. It is an opportunity to be part of a working team that helps our congregation grow in new ways.
Come and learn! Come and see what is happening in and through Bethany English! If you would like to have a table for the event, please let Melissa or me know so we can have one ready for you!

WE ARE A COMMUNITY OF FAITH THAT HAS BEEN WORSHIPING, LEARNING, SERVING, AND SOCIALIZING FOR OVER 100 YEARS.
The beautiful stained glass window sanctuary is accessible to all, and we encourage children to worship there as well or utilize the professionally staffed nursery. Communion is an important part of all Sunday services, and all who believe are invited to partake in the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
