Bethany English Lutheran Church offers a variety of Christian education learning opportunities for the spiritual growth of children and adults. Programs are held on Sunday mornings as well as during the week.
Adult Education
Adult Forum
Forum is held on Sunday mornings and led by Pastor Ferro. It is an interactive discussion that covers a variety of subjects relating to the Christian faith, Biblical study, Lutheran theology and putting faith and love into action. Adult Forum is held between services at 10:00 am in the Assembly Hall from September - May.
New Member Class
Visitors who are considering membership to Bethany are encouraged to attend the New Member Class. It is held periodically throughout the year and led by Pastor Ferro. This class gives prospective members a chance to learn more about who we are as a church. It answers specific questions about Bethany’s ministries, vision, history, and what it means to be a Lutheran.
Bethel Bible Study
Individuals interested in a comprehensive Bible study should consider attending Bethel Bible Study. Bethel is an overview of the entire Bible, both Old and New Testaments. Students are encouraged to complete assignments for the weekly classes taught by Pastor Ferro on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm.
Wednesday Morning Bible Study
Pastor Ferro leads this Bible study each Wednesday, September – May, from 10:00 – 11:30 am. The Bible study group began several years ago beginning with Genesis 1:1, and the class has been working their way through the Bible with instruction and reflection along the way. All are welcome to join this class at any time.
